How do we define projects

To put it simply: we define projects as schemes which aim to provide both sustainability and financial returns in the future. Therefore, products sold today (environmental certificates, insets, offsets) are the result of projects developed in the past. Whereas new projects will create tomorrows supply of products. An example of environmental products is that customers buy renewable electricity because of the existence of past projects that connected renewable sources to the grid. A project would be development of a new solar farm that will provide green electricity and renewable energy certificates, these will then be tomorrow’s products.
