About Trajecta
Why do we see ourselves as ‘your guide to zero’? Fair question.
Because there is a huge amount of work to be done, which needs to be done well and without unnecessary complexity or cost. You are part of a world from which much is demanded and has a distinct DNA in its day to day. We share that DNA.
Because we finely balance the line between the industry we serve and the industry we’re from. We have stood on the same types of farms on which your suppliers grow your products, we have managed and improved the same types of factories that you use to process and pack, and we have grown business in the same countries on different continents with the same people you buy from and ship to.
Because after all, it was only after years of working in your industry first that we made the transition to ours. First, to learn how climate change really works, how sustainability science and policy really work, and how decarbonisation really works. Then it led us to managing teams and developing environmental commodities, renewable energy certificates and climate finance.
Because it was only after all this that we felt compelled to return to our old industry and branch out, and only now on our own terms. In the way we saw fit for a while already. With more action than theory, and more progress than analysis.
Because we have been on this journey, we are equipped to help you on yours. That is our promise and why Trajecta Carbon is your guide to zero.

From 2020, he ran his own international strategy and communications agency in FMCG and trade before completing his sustainability pivot as Director, Trading Development in South Pole, expanding their certificates and renewables offering and further helping strengthen their Climate Portfolio Management division.
David holds MSc degrees in Entrepreneurial Finance and Corporate Governance & Valuation, Marketing Week’s Mini MBA in both Marketing and Brand Management and is a member of Think Tank Clingendael’s 2020 International Relations (LBB) cohort.
